Memorial Monument
For
Officer Jake Kuredjian
The memorial will be placed in Stevenson Ranch at the entrance
of Stevenson Ranch Road and Poe Street. The concrete encasement for the
engraved granite, petrigraph™ monument will be 24" tall, 27 3/4"
deep and 38 1/2 wide and will weigh approximately 2100 lbs. The memorial will be
engraved in black granite, and will have Jake astride his Harley motorcycle,
with words written by his friends and fellow Sheriff Officers, and will include
his "Sheriff Officers Badge". The engraving is of the
photo taken of Jake, the week of August 20, 2001. The petrigraph™
memorial monument, is being custom built and will be engraved by artist Katie
West, whose father, Charles Bradford Cutts, was a graduate of the Police Academy
for the LAPD.

The residents and fellow sheriff officers have erected a
temporary site pictured. Shown here is Jake's Captain, Donald Rodriquez, and
Stevenson Ranch representative and good friend of twenty years, Don Whaley. The
memorial monument placement is scheduled for the last week in October.
Jake was a beloved friend to all. We love you Jake and we will
never forget you. We will do good and help others as was your example and to
honor you and the United States Of America.
